Fall for T.J.Maxx and Fall Cupcakes

It’s Sunday again, and I hope everyone had a great week!

Two quick things to mention: first, I want to start off by noting the new look of my blog! I decided to give it a fresh new look and am quite happy with it 🙂 And second, I have a new feature on my blog called “Look of the Week” (on the right), where I will post a photo of an outfit I wore that week.  Click on the photo to see the whole outfit (on my Outfits page).

So with the arrival of Fall, I wanted to head to T.J.Maxx to see what amazing finds await me. I am a HUGE fan of T.J.Maxx, and definitely consider myself a Maxxinista.  For someone who loves quality AND quantity, that’s definitely the place to go, and you will find all the name brands for great prices!

This week I wanted to showcase 5 different Fall looks that I put together at T.J.Maxx:

This first look is casual day-time and great for going shopping or brunch with friends.  Dress: French Connection,
scarf: Calvin Klein, shoes: Adrienne Vittadini, bag: DKNY

I think every woman should have a great trench coat, and it’s perfect for this time of the year. You can dress it up with pants and pumps like I did here, and works for day to night.  Trench coat: Michael Kors, pants: Ralph Lauren, shoes: Nine West, bag: DKNY

For those fall days that are still warm, this day-time look is perfect.  The red pants scream fall and are a great pop of color.  Pants: SOLD, shirt: French Connection, shoes: Guess, bag: DKNY

Here’s a night-time look, great for going out to dinner or cocktails.  I love animal prints, and this dress works for anyone in their 20’s to 40’s.  Dress: French Connection, shoes: Ralph Lauren, bag: Steve Madden

The last look is all about the printed pants, and I paired them with these shoes for a pop of color.  Shirt: French Connection, pants: Paige, shoes: Guess, bag: Michael Kors

I hope these outfits inspire you to take a trip to T.J.Maxx and find some amazing pieces just in time for fall.  I’ll definitely be going again, and next time, I’ll include the prices so you know the great deals you’re getting!

And speaking of fall, it was time for me to bake some cupcakes…fall-themed cupcakes.  So I baked some cinnamon spice cupcakes with dark chocolate ganache icing, topped with fondant fall leaves and fall sprinkles:

September came and went by so fast, and I wish everyone a great week ahead as we roll into October!
